An original Lino print part of a series - A Room with a View. Each handprinted Lino print presents a window of a place the artist has visited and enjoyed. This Lino print series invites the observer to appreciate and reflect upon their favourite views. We often pass significant places or moments without stoping to enjoy that which is in front of us.  The windows reflects this concept of pausing and relishing places or things which feed our soul.  All windows have been created from a collection of drawings completed by the artist in the moment.

A Room with a View - Ilha do Farol; an original Linocut exploring the window view of the main feature of the island lighthouse. The Lighthouse Island, Ilha do Farol, is beautifully situated by the North Atlantic ocean. As the main attraction of the island, this lighthouse is surrounded by movement in the sky and centrally placed into the handmade Linocut. In this Lino print, huge boulders lead the observer through the open window to marvel at the sight ahead.

A sky blue Lino Print on Hereford paper, a smooth acid-free paper mould-made from part cotton rag.

Paper size 21cm x 29.7cm (approximately)

Limited edition of 50
